Lower Resale Value? I Think NOT!

Lower Resale Value? I think NOT!
So I’m out with my boyfriend, my good friend and his date. My friend’s date goes on to ask me a little about myself and when I mention that I have three kids she enthusiastically exclaims that I am not a “good catch”. Apparently having three kids lowers my resale value. When I proceed to ask her if she has any kids at 40+, she says no and proclaims that she is a much more desirable catch in the dating world. After a couple days of pondering this, I reflected on what I told her. Having three amazing, beautiful, blossoming human beings that I brought into this world, I think she is dead wrong. I am a much better person due to the fact that I have three kids. I used to be the most spoiled, self-centered, selfish, materialistic, perfectionist in the world. After having kids, I realized that there is actually something in this life that is more important than ME. They have taught me so much…things such as undying, unending, selfless love. They make my life so full and rewarding. But most importantly, I have been fundamentally changed forever. There is nothing like watching your most exhausting efforts pay off. Experiencing tiny human beings become these amazing, loving, giving human beings. To look into the eyes of innocence and know that you have created this creature is such an amazing, fulfilling, and immeasurable feeling. A feeling that she will never understand. And for that, I am TRULY sorry.
